Custard powder is primarily made up of thickeners that give the pudding its texture. Cornstarch is usually the biggest component since it is great for thickening liquids, dissolves easily and is almost foolproof. The powder also contains flavourings – vanilla is the one you’re most likely to find in a “standard” custard powder – and a hint of yellow colouring. Yellow colouring gives the custard just enough color.
Boil milk at the slow flame for 15-20 minutes. Add sugar in it. Boil milk until sugar dissolve. In other bowl take 2 cup milk and add custard powder it. Dissolve powder into milk very well. Add it into the boiling milk. Boil milk for 10-15 minutes at slow flame. Now cool down it. Wash all fruits. Peel chickoos, apples and bananas. Cut into small pieces. Add all fruits in milk and stir well. Keep in reflector for 5-6 hour. Garnish with a strawberry.
